Summer is now in full swing, so let the good times roll! Although this summer may look a bit different than others due to the global pandemic, it doesn’t mean you and your family can’t still make memories! Here are a few ideas on how you can still make the most out of the next few months using your car.
- Drive-In Theater: If you are one of the few lucky cities in America, you may have a Drive-In close to your home. Although there are less than 400 currently open in the U.S., there’s an excellent chance that there is one closer than you think! Take your truck and put a mattress in the truck bed for maximum enjoyment, or bring your sedan and a few lawn chairs. Either way, this form of entertainment may be fading out of popularity, but it’s too good of a unique experience to miss out on!
- Road Trip: There’s been a halt of regular travel through airlines due to the health risk associated with it. Road trips are now becoming increasingly more popular due to the fact that you are able to travel in the safety of your own vehicle. Pack up the car, pick your final destination, and let the adventure begin! Just be sure to check on the vehicle’s vitals before hitting the road at Arnold’s Marathon.
- TailGate: As we continue to figure out as a community on how to operate “normally”, a new norm is socially distanced events. These kinds of events include being at least 6 feet apart and maintaining that distance, while still being able to communicate and have fun. A type of event that is growing in popularity is tailgating with friends. You are easily able to socially distance while being outdoors, and still eat, drink, and be merry!
