Car care has many different aspects to it. Some of the items that you take care of are visual, such as replacing wiper blades, washing and waxing the exterior, and much more. However, there are some problems that instead of being in our line of sight every day, they are hidden and harder to find, and by the time you check them annually, their condition is far worse than it should ever be. A great example of this is your brakes.
August is Brake Safety Awareness Month according to the Motorist Assurance Program. Of course, any month could be BSAM, but MAP decided that August was the perfect month for it because of all of the road trips from summer wrapping up, it could be time to replace them from all the wear and tear of the road. After all of that fun, it is now time to send the kids back to school, and your vehicle should be in top condition to transport your family to and from important events.
